Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SlickMock ("SlickMock," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and mockup editor application (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

We also automatically receive limited technical information needed to operate the Service, such as your IP address, used among other things for basic rate-limiting and abuse prevention on certain endpoints.

2. Your Designs Never Leave Your Browser

This is important, so we want to be direct about it: the mockups and designs you create in the SlickMock editor are processed entirely locally, inside your own web browser. Your design files, images, and finished mockups are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. We simply have no access to them. When you close the tab or clear your browser storage, that data is gone — we never had a copy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described in Section 1 to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your account data for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate SlickMock, each of which processes a limited slice of your data on our behalf:

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and security practices governing how they handle data. We only share the minimum information each of them needs to perform their function.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

SlickMock does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to keep you logged in (a session token) and to remember your preferred display language. This data stays on your device and is used solely to operate the Service for you — it is not a third-party tracking mechanism.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Section 7), we delete your personal information from our active database, except where we are required to retain certain billing records for a longer period to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to request a copy of it. You can:

Note that deleting your account will end your subscription (per the cancellation policy in our Terms of Service) and cannot be undone.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including password hashing (bcrypt), encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

SlickMock's operator is based in Mexico, and our customers may be located in any country. Our database provider (Supabase) hosts data on servers located in the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and if changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
